We Need You, Now

I cannot imagine going through this life not knowing Jesus. This world and the things that go on in it can keep you feeling off-balance and uncertain. But this one thing I know for sure is that God is real..Jesus is real..and He absolutely loves us. I would never shove my faith or religion down your throat. But if you are not sure and feeling shaky and you want some assurance…blessed assurance..and you want to know and have your own relationship with Him, this is all you need to do. Just let Him know that you need Him, that you are not perfect and have made mistakes, He knows this anyway, we have all fallen short (Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God). Ask Him to forgive you and He will (Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us). Believe in your heart and don’t be afraid to confess with your voice that He is…Lord.  (Romans 10:9-11  9If you declare with your mouth,“Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. 11 As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame”). That’s all you have to do to accept Him into your heart (Romans 5:1 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ ). He’s waiting with open arms…..for you (Romans 10:13  for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved”). 

May God Bless and Keep you, your families and friends. I pray a special prayer of strength for anyone who reads this and decides to accept Jesus into your heart. I pray comfort for those in pain and peace for those in turmoil. Lord Jesus, we need you now.
