The Power To Persevere

Updated: Jan 31, 2021

Just because you are suffering doesn’t mean you are not strong. It means you have learned to endure. Your power is in perseverance and patience.

Galatians 2:20 NIV

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

You are strong. You possess the power. The power to persevere. This Jesus journey can sometimes be intimidating, mind-blowing, fulfilling, often times lonely and more. As His child you are equipped to endure but not just to endure but to abide.

John 15:3-4 NIV

You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you.    Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.

There is something He is teaching you along this journey that will be just between you and Him. While trusting and abiding in Christ you will do greater things than He.

John 14:11-14 NIV

Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves.  Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.  And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.  You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

You can believe it, embrace it, and do it. Abide in Him as He abides in you. Live it, breathe it, walk in it and don’t run from it. The journey is the journey. Don’t be discouraged by it. It is what it is. Just keep it moving and believe in the possibilities everyday.

John 15:16 KJV

You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.

You didn’t get it wrong and neither did He.

With Love,

Ms. Wanda, GAC
